The Default music on hold page is a small catalog of audio files marked as candidates for the PBX-wide hold-music default. The file selected on the PBX settings page becomes the fallback played whenever a queue or call flow step does not specify its own override.
Overview
This is a specialized subset of Music on hold: the same audio-file format and upload flow, but only these files can be picked as the tenant-wide default. Regular music-on-hold files instead attach to a specific queue or step.
What it does
Uploading here only adds a file to the catalog. To make it the live default, open the PBX settings page, Defaults tab, pick the file from the Music on hold picker, then save and push the configuration. Replacing the audio of the active default takes effect immediately, with no preview or staging.
