Preferences

A Tempus preference is a per-user setting that personalises the Tempus UI. Each user has one record, auto-created on first visit, and saving is immediate.

Overview

Preferences are cosmetic toggles, not functional permissions: they control how the UI looks for you, not what you can do, and follow you across devices. They affect display only, never stored data, so changing your date format changes how dates appear without touching the underlying values.

What it does

One setting personalises the Tempus UI:

  • Date format controls how dates are rendered across the Tempus area (for example DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD). Personal preference with no impact on stored data.

The calendar settings that used to live here (theme, weather, expected working time) were removed: the calendar now uses a single palette and carries no per-user display toggles.
